Lord Jesus Christ, the Father has commanded us to listen to you as his beloved Son.

Shed your light upon your Church in the Philippines as we gather for the 5th BEC National Assembly.

Send forth your Spirit of love and truth upon the assembly participants and all who are engaged in the work of BECs. Make us faithful to what the Spirit instructs us in our task of building BECs as the way to a Synodal Church. Stir our souls and teach us the truth. May the fruit of this assembly purify and strengthen us so we may greatly follow the Gospel through which you accomplished salvation. May we grow in communion, participation, and mission and make ourselves a living offering to the heavenly Father.

May Mary, the Most Holy Mother of God and Mother of the Church, be present in this assembly. May her intercession and motherly affection unite all of us. May she allow us to rejoice in prosperity and peace in the calmness of these days. May she guide us in reading the signs of the times, celebrating the majesty of the merciful God, the Lord of History, to the praise and glory of the Most Blessed Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
