Saint Teresita of the Child Jesus

Patron Saint of Mission and Doctor of the Church

In 1895, a monk, a simple nun, living in a Carmelite Monastery in Lisieux in France began writing, accompanied by her younger sister, in what she called “Story of a Soul: Histoire d’une.” soul).

She died on September 30, 1897 at the age of just 24 years after a successful battle with the painful tuberculosis. His frogs, touched by his writing, proclaimed his works. When the devotion to Him and His name is so deep it fits the wandering distance.

She was the one who called “Beata” as a Saint in 1923 and was declared a Saint of Papa, Pio XI on May 17, 1925. He was declared Universal Patron and Round Patron of the Mission on December 14, 1927. He was named Doctor of the Church of San Juan Pablo II in 1997.

Santa Teresita del Niño Jesus is regarded as the greatest saint of Modern Times.
