ADSUM PASIPLAT. DATE WITH THE LORD SA SILAY. The Parish Youth of San Diego organized a Date with the Lord yesterday February 14. It was participated by various parish ministries, lay associations and other fellow parishioners both young and young at hearts. There were singing and playing of violin, guitar and keyboard to accompany the meditation; and a reflection of the gospel followed given by Fr. Carl Quinto. A brief testimony about the love of God was shared by Leobert Lorca, a PYM where he challenges the youth to unite and remain Christ-centered not activity-centered and not to become seasonal Catholic youth. Love of God becomes then the motivating reason why a youth remains and serves the church. The date with Lord is very enlightening and empowering. It is indeed a very intimate and grace-filled experience challenging the participants to know, love and serve God more.
